About Me

I got into data analytics because I'm genuinely fascinated by how much information gets collected every day and what we can do with it. I strive to be a positive influence on the future of how data is handled in respect to improving life, respecting privacy, and driving progress.

Work Life

My first job was at a privacy company, DataGrail, which was perfect timing. I learned exactly what kinds of data companies collect, how they use it, and just how powerful good analytics can be. Since then, I've worked across different industries: biotech at Aromyx, real estate transactions at Skyslope, and more. Each place taught me something new about how data works in practice.

What I love most about this work is tackling problems that don't have clear answers. Business is messy, life is complicated, and data reflects that. I'm drawn to situations where there isn't one perfect solution, just the best approach you can take with what you know right now.

Life Outside Work

I've been playing piano since I was little and picked up French horn in high school. These days I play mostly to relax and enjoy the sound of music. My taste shifts every few months across pop, rock, classical, synth, lofi, soundtracks, and more.

Cooking is another big part of my routine. I focus on healthy stuff like egg white omelets loaded with vegetables, good sandwiches, burritos and tacos with fresh ingredients. Lately I've been exploring Vietnamese food and trying new dishes whenever I can.

I read a lot in spare time as well. Some favorites include Why We Sleep, No Bad Parts, Mistborn, Scythe, and Tress of the Emerald Sea. Currently flying through The Lies of Locke Lamora.

What Matters

The common thread in everything I do is wanting to make a lasting impact on others and our future. Whether that's through work projects, playing music, or cooking for friends, I get excited about opportunities to contribute something meaningful.

I live in the Bay Area and really appreciate life here, even with all its changes and challenges. The food scene is diverse, the people are interesting, and you can't beat the weather and access to nature.
